Notifications provide users with important information about events in the system. Notifications are sent in-app (default) and can also be sent via email (if enabled).

The following table provides a list of the current notifications sent by Canopy:

Report review state changesUsers involved in the review process of a report

A number of notifications are sent:

  • Request for peer PR/QA: this goes to all users who have the PR and/or QA role and Tech Managers.
  • Acceptance of PR/QA: this notification is sent to the report author(s)
  • Approval/Rejection: this notification is sent to the report author(s) and Tech Managers.
New KBKB managersWhen a user pushes a new KB item from a project's phase, or when a KB manager adds a KB entry manually, all KB managers are updated.
Company deletionAdministratorsThe administrator is sent a notification to inform them that a company should be deleted. As this is a destructive process, it requires admin oversight.
